Twilight Stars Take A Bite Out Of The Fillmore
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - With just a week away from the release of the vampire/werewolf series, many fans of the Twilight Saga (books & movies) came out to the historic Fillmore in San Francisco on Thursday night for a very special concert tour.
In celebration of the much anticipated release of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1," stars of the film toured 5 cities in the United States, San Francisco being one of them, to promote the upcoming film. The nationwide red carpet event and concert tour began in Atlanta and ran through Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco and will conclude in Salt Lake City.
Some of the eager and patient fans got a chance to meet Twilight actors and actresses Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen), Jackson Rathbone (Jasper Hale), Nikki Reed (Rosalie Hale) and Charlie Bewley (Volturi, Demetri). Plus the stars of the movie lead a short discussion on the upcoming film.

Twi-hards (as the fans are known) were also treated to a selection of music direct from the movie and performed by some of the acts, including Aqualung, Sleeping at Last, and Lucy Schwartz.
Music from the Twilight soundtracks have done well, spawning acts like Paramore, Death Cab for Cutie and Metric. This time around is no exception; in addition to the before mentioned, acts include Bruno Mars, Iron & Wine, The Belle Brigade, Noisettes, Carter Burwell, The Joy Formidable and Christina Perri. Perri is also co-headlining the sold out Alice @ 97.3's "Alice In Winterland" concert, December 8 at Bimbo's 365 in San Francisco with Kid Rock.
