Occupy SF Protesters Weigh Move To Mission District
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Occupy SF protesters are meeting Tuesday evening to decide if they will move from Justin Herman Plaza to a location in San Francisco's Mission District.
City officials offered the alternate location near Mission and 16th streets around 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, according to one protester named Ryan.
Ryan said some demonstrators view the offer as an ultimatum. "It's pretty much take it or get out," he said.
The meeting was still underway as of 6:30 p.m. but Ryan said, "I don't think people will ever give up Justin Herman Plaza."
He did, however, suggest that the movement could occupy both sites.
