Sex Assault Reported On Delta De Anza Trail

BAY POINT (CBS SF) - East Bay Regional Park District police are asking for the public's help in finding the person responsible for a sexual assault that occurred on a trail in Bay Point in late November.

The victim told police the assault occurred on the Delta de Anza Regional Trail between Clearland Drive and Bailey Road on Nov. 26 between 2:15 p.m. and 2:25 p.m.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic or black male about 6 feet tall with a thick build. He had black, curly hair reaching his eyebrows and had pimples on his cheeks, according to police.

He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue nylon workout pants with white stripes down each leg.
