Tech Report: How To Use That New iPad Or Kindle
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS)-- With Christmas just past, there are a lot of people out there who may have some new device . . . but not much idea how to use it.
KCBS Technology Analyst Larry Magid said he advises play around with the device. He also recommends going to the company's website and looking for frequenlty asked questions.
Magid said another option is to just type the question into Google or some search engine or to call the company and ask them.

A big part of using a new device is psychological, Magid said, and it's important to just be willing to make mistakes.
"it's pretty hard to break these things," Magid said. "Just try different things and experiment."
