JC Quarterback Fales Highlights Signing Day At San Jose State

SAN JOSE (CBS / AP) -- David Fales began his college career at Nevada. His new coach, Mike MacIntyre, hopes he will end it at San Jose State.

Fales, a junior-college quarterback, was one of the top signees for the Spartans. Along with Fales, San Jose State recruited 18 freshmen and a sophomore transfer.

The Spartans signed 14 players from California, including three who attended high school in San Jose.

Four players come from Arizona and two from Texas.

Fales transferred to Monterey Peninsula College in Salinas after leaving Nevada.
