Police Ask For Help Identifying Concord Bank Robber

CONCORD (CBS SF) - A Bank of the West in Concord was robbed on Thursday morning, police said. The robbery was reported around 10 a.m. at the bank located at 1969 Diamond Blvd.

The suspect entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money, according to police.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash from the teller, the suspect fled in a brown, four-door Toyota sedan that was parked nearby, police said.

The suspect was last seen driving away on northbound Interstate Highway 680 from Willow Pass Road.

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the bank robber from surveillance photos taken at the bank.
