JLo On Tour With Enrique Iglesias; Stopping In 'San Jo'
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) - This summer just got a whole lot hotter, especially for the South Bay. For the first time ever, Jennifer Lopez and Enrique Iglesias are hitting the road on a co-headlining tour that kicks off July 14 and making a stop at the HP Pavilion in San Jose on August 8!
In a press conference yesterday, Lopez said the two want their fans to get their money's worth and plan on playing all of their hits.
"It's going to be a lot of high energy; a lot of dance music, a lot of heartfelt music," she said. "We're going to give you everything we've got."
Iglesias is also looking forward to spending his summer on the road. "There is no better feeling than being out on stage in front of all my fans."
The duo announced the first 16 dates of their upcoming outing that has them stopping in Boston, Chicago and L.A, but plan to announce additional dates soon.
Since this is J.Lo's first world tour, she wants to make sure her fans stay connected. Fans can sign up on her website for a backstage pass that will allow them access to exclusive photos and videos from the tour.
And for all those wondering, yes, Lopez's new beau, Casper Smart will be joining her this summer along with her 4-year-old twins, Max and Emme. Of course, if the kids can't handle the bus, the singer has a back-up plan. "There's always grandma's house if they get tired and crazy," she joked.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 4.
