Florence + The Machine Announce Bay Area Tour Date

MOUNTAIN VIEW (CBS SF) – After co-headling Coachella in April, Florence + The Machine has announced a Fall US Tour. The third in 2012, the tour is in support of their latest album “Ceremonials”. The tour kicks off in Massachusetts in May and will make a stop at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View on October 5 with supporting act, “The Weekend.”

In 2011, Florence + The Machine completely captivated the audience at Live 105′ Not So Silent Night show. This taken from their website: “Talk about a powerhouse performance. Who would have thought that the timid, soft-spoken woman hanging out backstage with fans could command a crowd like that. Florence Welch’s vocals captivated the crowd with breathtaking songs like “Dog Days Are Over” and “Kiss With A Fist.”

Tickets for the Florence + The Machine show will release on Friday, May 11, 2012 through Live Nation.
