SFO-Bound Passenger Jet Makes Emergency Landing In Denver

DENVER (CBS/AP) -- A United Airlines flight from Toronto to San Francisco has made an emergency landing at Denver International Airport.

Airport spokeswoman Jenny Schiavone said Wednesday that United Airlines flight 867 landed safely, and there were no injuries.

United Airlines spokesman Rahsaan Johnson says the captain diverted the flight to Denver after noticing an engine vibration that was out of the ordinary. The captain decided to divert to Denver so the plane could be checked.

The flight landed safely at Denver International Airport, and passengers were put on another plane.

Johnson was unaware if passengers knew there was an engine issue while the plane was being diverted.
