SUVs Burned In Redwood City

REDWOOD CITY (CBS SF) - Authorities were investigating a pair of car fires in Redwood City early Monday morning.

The fires broke out on Linden St., about one block west of El Camino Real. They were reported at 3:15 a.m. - two SUVs parked roughly 100 ft. apart went up in flames and were both destroyed.

No injuries were reported, and a nearby apartment building carport escaped damage as well.

KCBS' Tim Ryan Reports:

Several weeks ago, a larger 3-alarm carport fire broke out not too far from the scene of Monday's car fires, damaging an apartment building. Investigators determined that fires was, in fact, the work of arsonists.
