Pixar Concert Debuts At The San Francisco Symphony

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - Not only does Emeryville-based Pixar Studios create mega-blockbuster animated feature films, they also score their soundtracks. Making its debut, the San Francisco Symphony presents the world premiere of Pixar In Concert on July 28th and July 29th at Davies Symphony Hall.

The concert's program will be introduced by Pixar Chief Creative Officer, John Lasseter, first on the 28th; then Director Pete Docter will be on stage for the introduction on the 29th.

Conductor Sarah Hicks will lead the symphony while memorable clips and imagery from Pixar's films will accompany the beautiful scores.
