ANTIOCH (CBS SF) - A 34-year-old woman was killed in a collision with a truck while riding her bicycle in Antioch early Friday morning, a police sergeant said.

The bicyclist, an Antioch resident, was heading west on East 18th Street near St. Claire Drive around 5:20 a.m. when she was struck by a Dodge pickup truck, according to Sgt. Robert Quintero.

The truck's driver, a 50-year-old Antioch man, stopped at the scene of the crash and called 911 for help.

The bicyclist was flown to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek where she succumbed to her injuries.
