SF Selected As Best City In U.S.

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF/THE CW) – The City by the Bay tops a Businessweek.com/Bloomberg ranking of the top 50 cities in America based on economy, education and leisure activities, among other factors.

San Francisco won out on the second annual list based on economic strength as well as environmental factors such as park access and clean air. The city was also lauded for its cultural attractions and diverse nightlife.

Oakland landed at number 31 on the list with high marks for entertainment options and a vibrant restaurant scene. San Jose also made the list at number 33, buoyed by the strength of Silicon Valley's economic strength.

Seattle came in second, with Washington D.C. placing third. The full rankings and analysis are available on the Businessweek Website.
