San Francisco Shooting Leaves 1 Hurt

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A man was shot in the ankle while waiting at a bus stop in San Francisco's Visitacion Valley neighborhood on Tuesday evening, police said.

The shooting was reported at 5:43 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Sunnydale Avenue and Santos Street.

The 28-year-old victim was standing at the bus stop when he felt pain in his ankle and realized he had been shot, according to police.

The victim ran away and was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injury, police said.

Two suspects were seen leaving the scene of the shooting, possibly in a gray or silver vehicle, but no arrests had been made in the case as of Wednesday morning, police said.
