SAN FRANCISCO (Bleacher Report) — The San Francisco Giants have a lot of priorities on their checklist for their matchup against the Detroit Tigers in the World Series.

Scoring runs against Detroit’s starting pitchers is at the very top of the checklist, as the Giants know as well as anyone that Detroit’s starters compiled a 5-1 record and a sparkly 1.02 ERA in the ALDS and the ALCS. They’ll have to succeed where the Oakland A’s and New York Yankees failed miserably.
