Stray Bullets Hit Oakland Fire Station Window

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- A round of gunfire struck a window at an East Oakland fire station Friday afternoon, an Oakland police officer said.

The bullets went through the fire station window at 7100 Foothill Blvd. just before 4 p.m., Oakland police Officer Kevin McDonald said.

No one was injured by the gunfire, he said.

The Oakland Police Department's Eastmont Substation is located at 2651 73rd Ave. across the street from the fire station.
