SF Chronicle Deliverywoman Caught On Video Peeing Inside Apartment Building's Elevator

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Residents in a San Francisco Marina District apartment building discovered they had been getting a nasty surprise along with their daily newspapers when a delivery woman was caught urinating in the building's elevator.

The San Francisco Chronicle deliverywoman was caught by a hidden camera that a resident installed after finding the elevator soiled almost daily.

"For the past three months, our elevator reeked of urine," resident Dan Stegink told the San Francisco Examiner.

The act was captured on video early one morning. The woman, seen in a hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants can be seen entering the elevator, setting down two papers, pulling down her pants, and crouching down.

The elevator's carpet was eventually replaced, but Stegink told The Examiner that it was soiled again the very next day.

The building manager, who had been cleaning the elevator multiple times a week told the Examiner that after complaining to the Chronicle, the problem stopped.

The woman is reportedly still delivering papers to the building. Stegink the building's residents didn't report her to police, because they didn't want the woman to get fired.
