BART Trains Delayed By Electrical Problem Near SFO

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - All BART lines were back on schedule after an electrical problem caused system-wide delays for hours Thursday morning, a BART spokeswoman said.

The electrical problem occurred at a substation between the San Bruno and Daly City stations, and was first reported around 6 a.m., BART spokeswoman Luna Salaver said.

The issue was resolved at about 9:45 a.m., she said.

Delays of up to 30 minutes were reported during the morning commute.

Salaver said crews waited until after the commute to fix the problem.
