SALINAS (CBS SF) — Police in Salinas are investigating an armed robbery at a pizzeria on Saturday evening.

Officers responded to reports of an armed robbery at Little Caesar’s Pizza at 524 East Laurel Drive at about 6:50 p.m., according to Salinas police.

Tow men armed with handguns had entered and robbed the restaurant, police said.

They fled on foot through a parking lot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

One suspect was described as a Hispanic man around 25 years old and about 5 feet 6 inches tall. He was wearing a gray hoodie, blue jeans and a blue bandana.

The second suspect was also described as a Hispanic man around 25 years old, with a similar build. He was wearing a dark hoodie and bandana.
