49ers Offensive Lineman Al Netter Arrested For DUI

SANTA ROSA (CBS Sports) -- San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Al Netter was arrested this week for a DUI, according to the Santa Rose Press Democrat newspaper. Netter spent the 2012 season on the 49ers practice squad.

Netter was cited on Wednesday for having a blood-alcohol content above the legal limit of .08.

"The 49ers are aware of the recent matter involving Al Netter," the team said in a statement. "We take these issues very seriously, but will reserve comment at this time as this is an ongoing legal matter. The organization will continue to gather the facts and monitor the developments closely."

Netter has been with the 49ers since signing with the team as an un-drafted free agent out of Northwestern in late April. Netter was signed to a reserve/future contract on Feb. 7.
