Tech Report: Samsung Next Smartphone's Will Have 'Eye-Scrolling' Technology

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS)— Samsung's new smartphone, which is expected to be introduced later this month, is rumored to come with a cool feature that'll make it easier to navigate your way around the screen, called eye-scrolling.

Eye-tracking software and hardware that's likely to be built into the phone, or at least could be according to some reports, would enable the phone to respond to where your eyes are looking. So if you are reading and get to the bottom of the page, it would know that it's time to scoll or go on to the next page.

A bit of this technology actually already exists in their Galaxy s3 phone. If the phone in my hand is dimmed it will actually light up based on me glancing at it.

But the new one will be much more sophisticated. The question is, who is in control and what is the technology doing for you, as well as can marketing analysts see what you're looking at?
