MC Hammer Tweets "All Charges Dropped" In Dublin Arrest

DUBLIN (CBS SF) Rapper MC Hammer tweeted that all charges have been dropped, referring to his brush with Dublin police last month.

On February 23 police arrested him on charges of obstructing an officer in the performance of their duties and resisting an officer.

Hammer, 50, whose real name is Stanley Kirk Burrell, tweeted Friday: "Thank You to all my friends and supporters. All Charges Declined. Dropped. Have a great weekend. #OutOnBail."

Hammer, best known for his 1990 hit "U Can't Touch This," has insisted he is innocent since the arrest.
