Cement Truck Crash Snarls Morning Commute In San Jose

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A crash involving a cement truck was snarling traffic in San Jose Tuesday morning.

The crash, which occurred at about 6:20 a.m. and left the cement truck on its side, is blocking the connector from southbound Interstate Highway 280 to northbound U.S. Highway 101.

The driver suffered only minor injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A Sig-alert had been issued for the area, and as of 8:05 a.m. there was still no estimate for when the crash would be cleared.
