Manhunt For One Of Bay Area's 'Most Wanted' Focused Near Golf Course

BOULDER CREEK (CBS) - Santa Cruz County Sheriff's deputies reported the possible sighting Thursday of a 42-year-old man being sought across several Bay Area counties for robbery, burglary, car theft and leading authorities on a pursuit through the North Bay last Friday.

Deputy April Skalland said that 42-year-old Dimitri Storm may have been spotted near the Boulder Creek Golf Course, where there have been recent reports of car burglaries and stolen vehicles in the area.

Investigators believe Storm is responsible for a robbery and burglary in Santa Cruz, car burglaries in Ben Lomond, and other crimes in Sonoma County. They said he has also changed his appearance to avoid capture.

He currently appears on Santa Cruz County's "Most Wanted" list and Skalland said he is considered "armed and dangerous."

According to the sheriff's office, Storm may be traveling in one of these stolen vehicles:

-- Black 2013 Audi Q5 Quattro, with a license plate number of 6ZAM472 and with a black and white "Junior Lifeguards" sticker on the rear bumper (stolen from Boulder Creek in the last day)

-- Green 2011 Kia Sol with a license plate number of 6SPZ235 (stolen from Felton in the last day)

Anyone with information on Storm's whereabouts was asked by authorities to contact the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office at 831-471-1121.
