Driver Injured After Truck Careens Into Livermore Yard

LIVERMORE (KPIX 5) - A truck slammed into a Livermore backyard Friday, sending one woman to the hospital.

Officers said a woman traveling eastbound on Concannon Boulevard when she pulled over. Witnesses said she suddenly shot of rapidly, crossing all of the lanes of Concannon before going over several embankments and up a canal before coming to rest in a backyard, where the car god lodged in an outdoor fire pit.

Nobody was in the home at the time of the incident.

Doctors say the woman was suffering from a medical emergency at the time of the crash.
