RICHMOND (CBS SF) — A 4-year-old girl who went missing Friday night in Richmond has been found safely sleeping under a bed.
Amia Renee disappeared shortly before 5 p.m. Friday from a home at 4230 Wall Ave. where she was visiting family, Lt. Bisa French said.
After several hours of searching, the girl was found just before midnight under a bed at her grandmother’s house — the same house she had gone missing from, French said.
“She was surrounded by many different items and unfortunately had gone undetected,” French said.
The girl is in good condition, according to French.
Relatives said the girl likes to hide a lot. The girl’s mother, Christine Nance, also expressed her gratitude and thanked police and the many relatives who helped search for her daughter.
