OAKLAND (CBS Sports) — The Mark Davis era in Oakland is starting to resemble the end of the Al Davis era — and that’s not a good thing. Less than one month after longtime executive Amy Trask left the organization, another well respected member of the Raiders front office has been let go.

Mark Davis fired Raiders public relations director Zak Gilbert over the weekend. Gilbert had only been with the Raiders for a year, but when he was hired, he brought over 10 years of media relation experience to the team, including seven seasons in the Green Bay Packers front office.

Gilbert was apparently fired because Davis didn’t like the way he and his father were portrayed in an April Sports Illustrated article.
