Muni Bus Catches Fire In SF's Outer Richmond
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A Muni bus caught fire in San Francisco's Outer Richmond neighborhood Friday morning.
A fire dispatcher told KCBS radio that fire crews were called to 48th Avenue near Geary Boulevard and Point Lobos Avenue around 6:40 a.m. to a report of a fire.
KCBS listener Bruce Hinze said no passengers were aboard the bus, and Muni officials said that no one was injured in the fire.
Smoke and flames could be seen coming from the bus.
The fire caused delays on the 38-line in the area, but service was back to normal later in the morning.
