Shaved Ignition Keys, Meth Pipes Found During Hercules Traffic Stop

HERCULES (CBS SF) -- Police have seized a cache of shaved ignition keys from a man and a woman during a traffic stop in Hercules.

Shortly after 2:30 a.m. Saturday, police conducted a traffic enforcement stop for erratic driving on a white 2000 Dodge Durango traveling westbound on Interstate Highway 80.

Police determined that the passenger of the vehicle, Michelle Christina Korey, 42, of Richmond, was on probation and subject to search.

According to police, two methamphetamine pipes were found during the search, as well as several shaved ignition keys. A search of the vehicle revealed additional shaved keys.

Korey and the driver of the vehicle, 36-year-old Felix Ray Blas, of El Sobrante, were both arrested and transported to the Hercules Police Department.

They were cited and released after booking.
