Suspect Arrested In Series Of SF Cell Phone Store Robberies

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS)— San Francisco police announced the arrest of 38-year old Christopher Bailey, who is suspected in a series of cell phone store robberies throughout the city.

On the evening of October 5, 2013, Bailey, a San Francisco resident was arrested after committing an armed robbery at a business on the 1500 block of Sloat Boulevard. Officers at Taraval Police Station quickly surrounded the plaza following the robbery and took Bailey into custody after a short foot pursuit.

Bailey was connected to five other cell phone store robberies throughout San Francisco and is currently in custody at the county jail.

He's been arrested for eight counts of robbery, one count of possession of stolen property, and resisting arrest.
