Fairfield police Seek Public's Help To ID Robbery Suspect

FAIRFIELD (CBS SF) -- Police have released a photo of a possible suspect wanted in connection with the strong-arm robbery of an elderly woman in Fairfield last month.

The Fairfield Police Department is continuing to investigate the robbery of an elderly woman in the driveway of her home in early September.

A store surveillance camera captured the image of a male subject who was watching and following the woman around the time of the robbery, police said.

Fairfield police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the person of interest.

He is described as a Hispanic man, standing between 5 feet 7 inches and 6 feet tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a long-sleeve button-up shirt and blue jeans, according to police.

Anyone who recognizes the person depicted in the photos, or has information about the crime is urged to contact the Fairfield Police Department Major Crimes Unit at (707) 428-7600.

Tips can be submitted via the 24-hour tip line at (707) 428-7345, via the Fairfield police Facebook Page at Facebook/FairfieldPolice, or our the MyPD Smartphone App.
