Man Grazed By Bullet In SF Bayview Shooting

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A man suffered a graze wound to his hand in a shooting in San Francisco's Bayview District early Friday morning, police said.

The shooting was reported at 1:12 a.m. in the 1500 block of Thomas Avenue.

The 21-year-old victim was walking in the area when he saw a silver vehicle, heard gunshots, then realized he was struck in the hand, according to police.

The suspect vehicle then fled west on Thomas Avenue and had not been found as of this morning, police said.

The victim was treated at the scene for his injuries and then released, according to police.
