San Francisco Police Arrest Suspect In Mid-Market Daytime Shooting
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — A San Francisco man has been arrested in connection with Monday's shooting in the city's Mid-Market area that sent one person to the hospital earlier this week, police said Friday.
Keron Lamotte, 19, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder for allegedly shooting a man multiple times on Market Street near Jones Street shortly before 1:35 p.m. on Monday, police said.
Lamotte was arrested in San Francisco's Lakeview District on Wednesday after a 48-hour search. He was identified as a suspect through witness interviews and evidence collected at the scene, police said.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of multiple gunshot wounds. His injuries are not considered life-threatening, according to police.
Police on Monday indicated that the shooting might have resulted from a street fight.
