Teen Girl Injured In Menlo Park Drive-By Shooting

MENLO PARK (CBS SF) -- Police in Menlo Park were searching for suspects in a drive-by shooting that injured a teenage girl in her home on Sunday night.

The shooting was reported in the 1300 block of Madera Avenue at about 7:35 p.m., according to police.

Witnesses told police that at least two shooters in a light-colored four-door sedan drove down the block and fired multiple gunshots into a home and two cars.

A 15-year-old girl inside the home was shot in the hand, police said. She was treated at the scene by paramedics and then taken to a hospital.

No one else was injured, and no suspects have been identified, police said. The suspect vehicle was last seen driving west on Madera Avenue toward Ivy Drive.

Anyone who might have information about the shooting is asked to contact Menlo Park police at (650) 330-6300 or call the anonymous tip line at (650) 330-6395.
