1 Killed When Car Plunges Into Water Near Tomales Bay
PETALUMA (CBS SF) -- One person died after a car went into the water near Tomales Bay in Marin County Tuesday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The vehicle went into the water at 20215 Shoreline Highway at Marshall Petaluma Road around 5:30 p.m., a CHP official said.
Two people were pulled from the vehicle and transported to Petaluma Valley Hospital, where one was pronounced dead, a CHP official said.
The coroner was called to the scene.
