25-Year-Old Survives Being Hit By Car Near San Francisco State

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A 25-year-old woman suffered minor injuries after a vehicle struck her in San Francisco's Ingleside Terrace neighborhood Saturday evening, a police sergeant said.

At about 5:45 p.m., police and emergency crews responded to the intersection of Holloway Avenue and Junipero Serra Boulevard on a report of a collision, police Sgt. Eric O'Neal said.

Upon arrival at the intersection, officers found that a vehicle had hit a pedestrian, O'Neal said.

She was transported to San Francisco General Hospital for a head injury not considered life-threatening, O'Neal said.

The collision is still under investigation and the cause has not been determined.
