OAKLAND (CBS SF) – A crew renovating an Oakland apartment building was held up in the middle of the afternoon Monday.
The 8-man team was working on a vacant building on 23rd Street, underneath Interstate 980, when four suspects approached and took their wallets, phones and cash, according to the Contra Costa Times.
READ MORE: 200-Acre Mendocino County Vegetation Fire 20% ContainedAccording to the newspaper, at least three of the men were carrying guns when they carried out the crime around 2:45 p.m. The suspects then fled in a car, but a vehicle description was not available.
