INTERACTIVE MAP: Maps The Location Of Recent Pedestrian Fatalities

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — Most pedestrians killed were crossing illegally, mid-block.  Some are jogging, others were running from someone.  The most heart-wrenching was a family crossing the street on New Year’s Eve, when a 6 year old girl died after police say a driver registered with Uber hit them in the crosswalk.

San Francisco pedestrian crashes, and fatal crashes are increasing, and causing city leaders and advocacy groups to demand change.
