VACAVILLE (CBS SF) — All lanes were reopened on Interstate Highway 80 in Vacaville Sunday afternoon after a vehicle crashed into a fallen tree and killed one person, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
The crash was reported at about 1:45 p.m. on westbound Highway 80 near Cherry Glen Road, CHP Officer Ron Simmons said.READ MORE: DEA Issues Safety Alert As San Francisco Fentanyl Seizures Soar
According to preliminary information, a tree appeared to have fallen into the roadway, partially obscuring the far right lane, according to the CHP.

The Solano County coroner responded to the scene.
