Boy Hospitalized After Being Struck While Using San Francisco Crosswalk
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) – A juvenile was struck and injured while walking in crosswalk on Wednesday evening in San Francisco's Balboa Terrace neighborhood.
Police said a boy was hit by a car that was turning onto Junipero Serra Boulevard from Ocean Avenue.
The boy was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
The driver remained at the scene and was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian and not having proper proof of insurance.
The collision remains under investigation.
