Magnitude 2.3 Earthquake Strikes Off San Mateo County Coast
DALY CITY (CBS SF) -- An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.3 was recorded off the San Mateo County coast Monday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The temblor was reported at 8:12 p.m. about 5 miles west of Broadmoor, 6 miles northwest of Pacifica and 7 miles west southwest of Daly City.
The earthquake had a depth of 0.2 miles, according to the USGS.
