SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS)— Is the U.S. Supreme Court done unleashing money in politics, or do you think there’s more deregulation in this area to come?

That was our question for Daniel Newman, co-founder and president of, a non-partisan research organization that resources and compiles information about the sources of campaign contributions, federal, state and local politicians, ballot measures and legislative votes. The organization then reveals that information to show patterns of influence.
