Twitter Rolls Out New Profile Pages Similar To Facebook

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A small group of Twitter users got a revamp of their profiles that represent a dramatic change for the familiar website.

The restyled profiles let users customize their header, and places Twitter stats right at the top of the page, next to a larger profile photo.

The new layout is drawing comparisons to Facebook's profile pages, with that large profile photo displayed next to user information.

New Twitter users will see the new layout automatically, but current users will see the changes over the coming weeks, according to a Twitter blog post.
