Foster Parents Needed For Underweight South Bay Kittens

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) - The Humane Society of Silicon Valley wants you to step up and help homeless cats and kittens find temporary homes.

Foster parents provide daily care and medication to the cats along with lots of TLC. They must also bring the cats in for regular medical appointments.

The felines often get placed into temporary care because they are too young or underweight to be formally adopted. Or a cat and her kittens need a place to gain strength and be properly socialized. Here's the group's video explaining the need:

Interested volunteers must fill out an application and attend an orientation class. Complete info is available on the group's website.
