Richmond Hit And Run Driver Talking On Cellphone Before Crashing, Pinning Victims

RICHMOND (CBS SF) -- A driver talking on his cellphone crashed into another vehicle, injuring two people, then left his car pinning the victims inside and fled the scene, according to Richmond police.

The crash happened at 23rd Street and Lincoln in the East Bay city Monday night around 9 p.m.

The hit and run vehicle is a white Ford pick-up with construction materials inside left on a side street, and the victims were in a small Toyota sedan.

Both victims have been treated and released.
