Man Fatally Shot In San Francisco's Potrero Hill
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A person shot in the head in San Francisco's Potrero Hill neighborhood Tuesday Night has died, a San Francisco police spokesman said.
The shooting was reported around 9:15 p.m. in the first block of Turner Terrace in the Potrero Annex public housing area, according to police spokesman Officer Gordon Shyy.
A responding officer found a male victim with a gunshot wound to his head, he said.
The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he was pronounced dead, Shyy said.
Following the shooting, a large crowd had gathered where the victim was hit, Shyy said.
