Armed Mohawk Mugger Robs Morgan Hill Subway, Remains At Large

MORGAN HILL (CBS SF) — Morgan Hill Police are looking for a man who allegedly brandished a shotgun while attempting to rob a woman in a Target Store parking lot at 1061 Cochrane Road before robbing a nearby Subway Restaurant Thursday night.

A woman was walking through the Target parking lot at about 9 p.m. when an armed man drove up next to her, flashed a shotgun and demanded her purse, reported a Nixle alert from the Morgan Hill Police early Friday morning. The woman refused and the suspect fled the parking lot in a white four door sedan with a black bra on the front grill.

About five minutes later, the same suspect walked into the Subway Restaurant located at 250 Cochrane Plaza and demanded money as he threatened the employees with a shotgun. The suspect, described as a slim white man in his twenties with a Mohawk, fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. He last seen wearing a black "punisher" T-shirt.
