SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — San Francisco Giants outfielder Hunter Pence’s scooter has been returned undamaged Wednesday after it was stolen from outside a restaurant near San Francisco’s AT&T Park on Sunday afternoon, a team spokeswoman said.

Giants spokeswoman Staci Slaughter said the scooter is back at the team’s clubhouse after someone brought it earlier today. The scooter was taken from outside the Epic Roasthouse along the Embarcadero after the Giants’ win over the Minnesota Twins on Sunday.

Pence has been riding around the city on the battery-powered scooter since shortly after joining the Giants in a 2012 trade.

He had left the scooter, which is black with orange decals of Pence’s name and his jersey number 8, unlocked outside the restaurant while eating there and later found it was gone.

He then posted on his Twitter, “Ahhh someone stole my scooter!”

for two, the Union Square-area restaurant Lefty O’Doul’s offered $200 and two free drinks, and Pence offered a signed bobblehead of himself riding the missing scooter in exchange for the safe return of the stolen goods.

In his latest tweet about the missing vehicle, Pence posted on Tuesday afternoon, “Thanks again to everyone for your concern for my scooter! Do not fret, a new scooter has been ordered and my old scooter was ready for a new home. :)”

Pence rode a back-up scooter to the Giants games against the Chicago Cubs on Monday and Tuesday.

Lee Houskeeper, publicist for Lefty O’Doul’s, said after news of the return Wednesday afternoon, the $200 reward is being offered to a man who called the restaurant to say he was responsible for its return.
