This week one pop star reveals all (literally), another is released from jail, and another faces racism allegations.

1. Rihanna’s Risqué Dress Leaves Little To The Imagination

Pop star Rihanna was awarded the CFDA Fashion Icon Award this week, but it was her dress that really turned heads and got people talking.  The 26-year-old singer showed up to the event in a near see-through dress that left many divided.  Was it fashion forward or distasteful?

 

2. Justin Bieber Video Filled With Racist Remarks Emerges

Justin Bieber’s recent troubles seem to have gotten even worse as a new video shows the teen heartthrob singing a parody to his “One Less Lonely Girl” song fill with racist remarks.  TMZ released the video where Bieber can be seen using the N-word and referencing the Ku Klux Klan freely.  While this has Bieber in hot water (again), reports have also come out that TMZ used the dated video to blackmail the singer.

 

3. Chris Brown Released From LA County Jail Early

Singer Chris Brown was released from jail early Monday morning and immediately took to Twitter to express his gratitude, stating that he was “Humbled and Blessed.” The 25-year-old was on probation for assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna. In October 2013, Brown violated that probation and was sent to the Los Angeles County Jail for an assault charge in Washington, D.C.

 

4. Ann B. Davis, “The Brady Brunch” Maid, Dies At Age 88

Ann B. Davis, famously recognized for her role as Alice the maid in “The Brady Bunch,” died at age 88 this week according to a Texas medical examiner.  No details have been released on how the Emmy-winning actress died, however an autopsy will be performed.

 

5. Lupita Nyong'o and Gwendoline Christie Join Cast of “Star Wars: Episode VII”

It looks like Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong'o has found her next gig in the Star Wars franchise.  Nyong'o was cast in the seventh installment of the sci-fi classic, but no word is available yet on who she will be playing. Gwendoline Christie, best known for her role as Brienne of Tarth on Game of Thrones, has also secured a role in the upcoming space phenomenon.  Only time will who these two dynamic women will portray.  Until then, the rumor mill is sure to continue spinning.
