Careyette allegedly stabbed his 53-year-old roommate, who called police around 5 p.m. Tuesday to report an attack that occurred during an argument in their home in the 100 block of Catalpa Lane, police said.

Police sent out a countywide alert to law enforcement to be on the lookout for Careyette, who fled the residence in a black, four-door 2004 Honda Accord.
After Careyette turned himself in, Vacaville police detectives went to San Francisco to interview him and he agreed to be booked into jail in San Francisco, Lydon said.
Police have been to the roommates’ residence several times in the past and there were weapons in the house, Vacaville city spokesman Mark Mazzaferro said.MORE NEWS: Snapchat Ad Sales Suffer, Social Media Stocks Dip in Response to Apple Privacy Moves
